Using Minecraft, SurvivalCraft, Lego blocks, Plasticine, PlayDoh or any other form of 3D building ( Be as creative as you like); Create these shapes with the following dimensions: 
1.- 3 x 3 x 3
2.- 7 x 6 x 4
3.- 2 x 12 x 1
4.- 4 x 11 x 4
5.- 13 x 4 x 1
Now build any shapes that have the following volumes:
1.- 45cm3
2.- 27cm3
3.- 55cm3
 Bring a screen shot, the build itself, or photos to show the class.

3rd grade - Vestuario día de las madres - Mother's day dress

Buenas tardes,
El día de hoy los niños tuvieron su sesión para decidir su vestuario para el festival del día de las madres. Por mayoría en votación decidieron usar:

Niños:
-       Pantalón de mezclilla azul
-       Camisa de manga corta o larga.
-       Corbata, propia o prestada de papá.
-       Zapatos o tenis negros.
Niñas:
-       Vestido primaveral de cualquier color.
-       Zapatillas, zapatos o tenis negros.
-       Cabello recogido.

Cualquier otro accesorio que deseen traer es aceptable pero les pido recuerden que la temática del festival será de los 60’s.

Good afternoon,
Today the kids had their session to decide how they’ll dress for the mother’s day festival. In a vote the majority decided for:

Boys:
-       Blue jeans.
-       Short or long sleeved shirt.
-       A tie, their own or a loan from dad.
-       Black shoes or trainers.
Girls:
-       Summer dress in any colour or pattern.
-       Black shoes, trainers or sandals.
-       Hair pulled back.

Any other accessory they wish to bring is acceptable but I do ask you to remember that the theme for the festival is “The 60’s”.
